Ugh.

1 min read
It had been quite over a year since the first appearance of the strange girl wearing black, and yet, she continued to appear around the same places. The mechanical dog continued to stay by her side, but as of right now she had turned it off to mess with the screws in its body. There was one feeling she couldn't quite shake, when no one was around anymore...but she didn't want to admit how lonely she was.

"What a bore this place is," she muttered, "like a ghost town without the town part."

Her mind went to the topic of her sister, and she thought of how nice it would be if she could just see her again and have everything back to the way it used to be. Biting her lip, she shook her head vigorously. All of that needed to get past her. She just wanted someone to talk to. Maybe she was being avoided due to how effortlessly rude she was...

((I'm probably going to be leaving sometime tomorrow, so today's my last day here. I don't know how long I'll be gone, but I thought I should let y'all know in case I'm gone for a week or longer.))

...Huh?

Melissa sat underneath a tree, staring at a strange mechanical dog that seemed to be awaiting orders.
"Where did this thing come from?" She mumbled, digging in her pocket and pulling out a switch.
"I must have created it...but I don't remember a thing..."
She shook her head, then focused on the dog.
"Alright, boy. Sit."
The mechanical dog did as it was ordered.
"Speak."
The dog opened its mouth, but no sound came out.
"Huh...I guess it needs a few adjustments. I can do that." Melissa stood up, and noticed you, suddenly.
"Wh- What are you staring at?!" She snapped, narrowing her eyes. She then snapped her fingers, turning to leave.
"Come on, boy, we're leaving."

((Sorry I didn't do much for the event! :< If I had my computer, I'd have remembered to come on my RP accounts more often...))

The somewhat mysterious girl wearing a black hoodie seemed to have her full concentration on something she was building.
It appeared to be some sort of dog. A mechanical dog with a hard shell of metal on the outside.
The girl smirked, not noticing anyone that could be nearby.
She then stood up and took a few steps back, sticking her hand into a pocket in her hoodie. She pulled out what seemed to be a remote, and pressed the button.
Suddenly, the mechanical dog came to life. Its eyes began to glow red, and it lifted its head as if it were howling, but no sound came from it at all.
A glitch? The girl tappen her foot impatiently. Oh well. It would do for now.
"Come, Rex." She spoke in a harsh tone, and the dog obeyed. She began to walk, and it trotted by her side.
"No one's going to mess with us anymore."

((Hi there! It seems I'm a bit late with taking part in this event, heh. Melissa hasn't changed that much, but she's actually a good person at heart. I guess now you'll see what would happen if she wasn't with the event going on. c: ))

"That's old news, though."
Melissa clearly looked uncomfortable for some reason. She hesitantly grabbed the sides of her hood and pulled them down, making her face and dark brown hair much more visible. She scowled.
"I don't see what the big deal is. It's just summer, it's a season, just like winter, spring, and fall...why is everyone so happy about it?"

((Oh my...it's been a while since I've made a journal here! Sorry everyone, I'm still around! With my computer dead and all, I have to rely on the Wii to help me do these things...so sorry if I seem inactive!))
